Agenda for 14th-15th October
The camp was just the beginning - it's been amazing and inspiring for so
many people: those who've been planning the camp, those who came and made
it real and those who heard about it.
We're inviting all those people and especially anyone who wasn't at the
camp but has been inspired by it, to come together this weekend.
Now is the time to:
*celebrate
*analyse the effectiveness, not just of the camp, but also all the work we
did leading up to it
*learn and record the lessons we've learnt
It's also the perfect time to:
*ask ourselves what we need to do next to avoid catastrophic climate
change, and
* work out what we can best do now, building on what we have created
through the camp.
This is of course a lot to pack into a weekend. The facilitation working group (responsible for organising and facilitating the meeting) had a productive meeting yesterday and we've come up with a proposed agenda.
There are three main parts to the meeting:
*learning from what we did
*working out what we want to do next
*dealing with practical things like finance and legal support.
We thought it would be good to mix learning from what we did and where next, so both these are in two parts and happen both on Sat and Sun.
Many thanks to everyone who has sent in proposals about what we could do next. They and any other proposals that people come up with during the weekend will be discussed on Sunday.
Please note that due to time constraints we have not included any time for working groups or working group debriefs. Many working groups have already met and debriefed over the the past month or are doing it via email and phone.
