Manchester Neighbourhood
The Manchester Neighbourhood meets every first and third Tuesday of the month at The Basment, 24 Lever Street, Manchester city centre.
Our neighbourhood has a bicycle pirate theme becasue we are running a bicycle library at the camp so that people can cycle from selby to the camp- a fun and environmentally friendly way to travel!
Get involved by coming along to a meeting, or by donating a bicycle or by coming to one of our many fundraising and info events.
Manchester Events
We have held many events, including jumble sales, parties, gigs, summer fetes.Our most recent event was on Friday 14th July when we organised a gig after the Manchester anti G8 critical mass bicycle ride.
The event featured many local performers playing a wonderous eclectic mix of music, film and poetry.. with an amazing raffle where the star prize was a ticket to the climat camp (with the entry £10 donation paid)!
