Networking and Outreach

Our responsibilities and subgroups include:

  • Community and local networking group ; Communicating the idea of the camp and trying to get involved, local and community groups interested in climate change
  • NGO networking group ; Doing the same with all the NGO.s who are currently working on climate change
  • Publicity group ; Designing, Creating and distributing, leaflets posters etc
  • Website group
  • Responding and forwarding emails and answering the camp phone (if it exists)
  • Media/ Counter spin Collective ; Dealing with the inevitable media interest that this will create and trying to create a positive image of the camp. Liaise with and create our own media
  • Kids Crew/ Teenagers group ; People to do outreach before to make sure that people know that the camp will be kid friendly, target kids and youth projects and make sure there is stuff for kids to do there.
  • Find neighbourhood hosts
