Scottish and Irish Neighbourhood
Location: Scotland and Ireland
Neighbourhood name: we don’t have any yet.
Email: scotland@climatecamp.org.uk
The Scottish and Irish neighbourhood does not meet on a regular basis, so if you want to be kept informed please join the list: scottishbarrio-subscribe [at] lists.riseup.net
You can also help by providing some of the things we need (see below).
We have 30 seats on buses going to the camp from Glasgow on 24th August. If you want to book a seat please contact scotland [at] climatecamp.org.uk
What do we need?
- Structures: Two marquees, geodomes or any other structure to fit around 75-100 people.
- Power: Batteries, bayonet light fittings, any environmentally friendly power generator.
- Drivers: Drivers with pre-1997 driving licenses to drive down to the camp on Thursday 24th August.
- General: Water butts, carpets, bins, blackboards, tables or material to make them, seats
- People: We need people there the week before to set up the camp and later on to take everything down.
- Entertainment: Bring everything you like: musical instruments, films, books but remember that electricity might not be always available on-site (too much CO2!).
